Happy B-day Mama Mama

We were sad to see Marge go, she was such a great help! We celebrated her b-day before she left. Soli decorated the table and insisted everyone wore a birthday hat even Juliana. She also helped me make a delicious strawberry pie. Happy 59th Mama Mama!

Father's Day

Tony had an extra special Father's Day with his two daughters. Guille, Maria Marta and Reni came down and we celebrated by barbecuing up some steaks. Reni and Soli had fun making a cake and attempting to decorate it. Although, their decorating skills were not up to par with Julie- the cake still tasted yummy!

Fun with Soli

Marge has been a big help keeping Soli busy! She has taken her on many play dates with her school friends. They have been enjoying the outings in the pleasant Austin climate! (100+degrees). They have gone to an Art in the Park day, Whole Food's Floral Department, Barnes and Noble, and the Children's Museum. Soli is having a great time with her Mama Mama.

Juliana's First Bath

Juliana's umbilical cord finally fell off- although she still looks like she will have a big outie! Now that it is off we were able to give her a bath. She loved the water and Soli had a great time helping out even though we had to remind her not to pour water on Juliana's head! We captured a few cute pictures and a quick video of her first bath.

Sisters!

Soli is so excited to have a little sister. Her favorite thing to do is pick out matching outfits for them to wear. Most of the clothes are way to big- but we still put them on!

Crystal Lite Kryptonite

Apparently I am deadly allergic to Crystal Lite Raspberry Green Tea. I drank some the other day and look what happened! After an epinephrine shot and a few hours at the ER- I am back to normal!

Dancing!

Soli had her last day of dance and gymnastics class on June 9th. They had a little dance recital and mini gymnastics meet. It was so cute! She loved being in the spotlight! She preformed two dances- one ballet, and one tap. It was pretty funny to see 3 year olds follow a routine. Then in the gymnastics portion she did a bar routine and a beam routine. Her favorite part of course was getting the medal at the end. She had a great time.

Preemie Clothes

Juliana is so tiny that we needed preemie sized clothes! Julie of course was more than happy to go shopping for us. She sent us a really cute outfit. Not to be out done- Marge went shopping and bought a few more. We have had some great fashion shows with her! To see more click on the link:

Our Newest Addition

My labor was quick and easy- just like with Soli. Juliana came in to this world at 12:00 on the dot. She is just a little peanut weighing only 5 pounds 4 ounces but she is very healthy. We think she looks a lot lot Soli did as a newborn- only smaller!

Sibling Rivalry

It was the last day of school for both Soli and me. Soli's school had planned a big graduation party. Since this was her first end of school party, Tony and I both had the day off and were excited to participate in this milestone for our little girl. Juliana had other plans- she let us know right away that she does not intend to conform to Soli's schedule!

I woke up at about 5:30 with a backache. I knew right away that this was labor and by 6:00ish my contractions were coming about every 4 minuets. I realized that we had not taken any pregnancy pictures yet so Tony managed to snap this photo before we headed off to the hospital.
